Pierce Kavanagh is an Irish Actor based in Dublin, Ireland.

He works as an actor in film, theatre, and television, and although based in Dublin, can travel to wherever the work takes him.

Most recently, Pierce toured Ireland in The Shawshank Redemption with Lane Productions, and has appeared on RTE television in Aisling's Diary for Campbell Ryan Productions.

Pierce is also a Theatre Director, and recently directed Ira Levin's Deathtrap in The Helix Theatre, Dublin.  This was part of Summer @ The Helix which he co-produced and which included One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest and various Summer Camps for kids.  He has also worked for many years in the Design and Management areas of Irish theatre. 

He has an MA in Directing for Theatre, and in Drama and Performance from UCD.

Well known in Irish Theatre, Pierce works on a freelance basis, and has travelled the country with many different companies, working in most of the theatres nationwide.
